An overnight fire in Lansing, Michigan, killed three young children and injured several other people, according to reports.
The fire occurred in the early morning hours of October 30, 2019, according toa report from WILX. Four other people, including other children, were hurt. A family dog was also found dead inside the home.
“The first thing [firefighters] noticed was heavy fire conditions. They had fire on just about every floor and two of the windows on the second floor,” Fire Chief Michael Tobin told reporters.
The house is considered a total loss. No firefighters were injured.
