Second OCD Staff and Command School Scheduled
The National Fire Defense Advisory Committee, in cooperation with the Office of Civil Defense, Department of Defense, has announced a second Fire Service Staff and Command School, scheduled for April 30 through May 11. The course will be held at the OCD Staff College, Battle Creek, Mich.
As in the first course, held last October, the NFDAC training subcommittee, under Chairman Robert Byrus, director, Fire Service Extension, University of Maryland, has selected the curriculum, named the instructors and issued invitations to senior fire officer participants tlrrough the various national fire service organizations. Keith Royer, director of Fire Service Extension, Iowa State University, has been retained as consultant to direct and coordinate the activity with the Battle Creek OCD Staff College personnel.
