IAFC Membership Drive
The International Association of Fire Chiefs has launched a membership campaign designed to develop 2,000 new members. Heading the drive is Chief Adrian J. Meyers, Grand Rapids, Mich., who is IAFC’s second vice president. He will be supported in this undertaking by IAFC President Raul Gandara, chief of the Fire Service of Puerto Rico, and by other key officers of the association.
Chief Reg Swanborough, Hamilton, Ont., IAFC’s first vice president, is in charge of expanding memberships in the Canadian Division, and Chief Lewis A. Marshall, Providence, R. I., IAFC’s past president, is in charge of membership solicitations in foreign countries. Chief G. A. Mitchell, Opelika, Ala., is in charge of finances and Chief C. W. Wyrick, Greensboro, N. C., will serve as campaign secretary.
