Fire Prevention and the Need of a Fire College
SPECIAL ARTICLES
IT gives me a great deal of pleasure to be present to-day at your convention for two reasons, first, because I bring to you the greetings of the government of Canada, and in the second place, because for personal reasons I am glad to meet with the faces of so many fire chiefs I know. The more I mix with the good fellows of your association, the more I appreciate your viewpoint and the work you are doing. The more we meet in convention and the closer we get together the more we appreciate the views of each other. I am glad that this association stands for a great public service in the Dominion of Canada, fighting fires, which is for the protection and the conservation of the property of the Dominion.
