Independent Hose Company will have its usual disturbance on Washington’s Birthday, only it will have it the day after, which will be Monday, February 23rd. This will be done because the chaplain will not allow us to break the Sabbath. This year the company is going to invite the ladies, hoping thereby to put them in a good humor, and exert upon them an influence for good, so bring your best girl along. Oh, yes! We are going to have our annual outbreak in the St. Peter’s Parish House
