Baltimore City Completes Fire Alarm Modernization

BALTIMORE, MD, Fire Department (Chief John J. Killen) is now operating its recently installed central fire alarm system. Considered one of the most modern of its type, it replaces a system in service for 40 years. The latter could no longer be efficiently modified to meet the increasing demands necessary to keep pace with the city’s growth.
