Dallas (TX) firefighters battled a condo fire late Wednesday that went to five alarms.
Dallas Fire-Rescue responded to a 911 call at approximately 6 p.m. about a structure fire at an apartment building, according to the local NBC affiliate (http://bit.ly/1ati2DB).
Crews made an offensive push against the fire in the two-story building, but were forced to pull back because the fire had already advanced. Firefighters however rescued a dog from the fire building.
All but one unit of the building was vacant–the only occupied unit was where the dog was located. The occupant was initially not accounted for, but was eventually located.
No residents were reported injured. One firefighter suffered a minor burn injury.
