A car slammed into a North Carolina church early on Easter Sunday and spurred a gas leak, officials said.
The carcrashed into Second New Bethel Baptist Churchon New Walkertown Road in Winston-Salem on April 17, the Winston-Salem Police Department told local outlet WFMY.

The church posted on Facebook that itsdrive-in service planned for the day was canceledand asked for prayers for the driver of the car involved in the crash.
Officials had not released any additional details as of the afternoon of April 17.
