WELL DRILLING NOTES
Crisfield, Md., has an artesian well over 1000 feet deep. It will be used by the Ice Manufacturing Company. It was sunk by John H. K. Shannahan of Easton.
In another week, it is believed, the temporary additional water supply at Rochester, N. Y., from the Brighton wells will be available for use in Mt. Hope reservoir. Two wells have been sunk, each of ten-inch diameter, and it is expected 1,000,000 gallons may be pumped from them daily.
