Waterworks Bids Opened.
COLUMBUS, OHIO.—Bids for cast iron pipe and specials were opened on the 29th of November as follows: United States Cast Iron Pipe and Foundry Co., pipe, $25.90 per ton; special castings, 2 7/8 cents per pound. James B. Clow & Sons, Chicago, $27.25 and 2 ⅞ cents.
CLIFTON, COLO.—Contract has been awarded for constructing a concrete diverting dam over Grand river to J. J. Lumsden, of Grand Junction, Colo., at $74,625.
