The water company of Noblesville, Ind., has begun a series of extensions of the mains which will greatly improve the service.
The two new centrifugal pumps recently installed at the water plant of Bayonne, N. J., are expected to provide a greatly improved pressure of from 50 to 70 pounds at all times. For some time the pressure has been as low as eight to ten pounds.
