The Oak Ridge, Tenn., Fire Department, as might be expected, loses no opportunity to employ the latest of scientific fire extinguishing developments. To that end, it was quick to seize upon “wet water.” But, like other users of surface tension reducers, it was concerned with the question of the proper admixture, or intrusion of the wetting agent, into water.
