One of the largest turnouts in its history broke records at the conference of the Pacific Coast Inter-Mountain Association of Fire Chiefs, September 14-17 last, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Entertainment was well blended with education as the three day program opened with an invocation by the Reverend E. A. Vessel. Mayor C. D. Baker welcomed the delegates, after which impressive memorial services were held with appropriate songs by the Westerner’s Quartet of the Las Vegas Kiwanis Club, accompanied by the Nellis Air Force band.
