Retired Chief E. S. Crelin
Edmund S. Crelin, Sr., who retired as chief of the Fort Monmouth, N. J., Fire Department on January 14, died in February after a long illness. He was a former chief of the Red Bank Fire Department and started his Federal civil service career in June 1942 when he was appointed assistant fire chief. He was promoted to deputy chief in 1948 and chief of department in 1955.
