Morse Gen. Manager, Indianapolis Water Co.

霍华德·斯科特·莫尔斯瓦哈inted general manager of the Indianapolis Water Company, in place of Carleton Davis, who has resigned to take the post of manager of the Philadelphia Suburban Water Company. Mr. Morse was born at Dedham, Mass., on June 21, 1881, and was educated in the public schools of that city. He graduated in civil engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1903. His first work in engineering was during the summers of 1901 and 1992, on water works and sewerage, in the employ of Erastus Worthington, H. E. In 1903 he was with the Pennsylvania Lines and from October, 1903, to May, 1904, with the Massachusetts Tech. From the latter date to April, 1908, he served with the U. S, Reclamation Service, and in May, 1908, was in charge of sewer construction with the Luiisville, Ky.. commissioners of sewerage, holding this position until Lehman. 1912.

In March, 1912, Mr. Morse was appointed principal assistant engineer of Cincinnati, on sewer work. In October, 1914, he was made director of the Cincinnati bureau of municipal research, and remained in this position until appointed engineer ot the Detroit bureau of governmental research, in June, 1910.
