Houston (TX) Firefighters Save Dogs from House Fire

On February 5th, Houston (TX)firefightersresponded to an early morning house fire occurred in the southeast section of the city.

Heavy smoke was pouring from the eaves and ridge vents asengine工作人员了an offensive attack. The bulk of the fire was on the C side of the house, where an addition to home had already burned. The fire began to spread into the attic, moving quickly toward the A side of the home.

Crews quickly performedvertical ventilation, which allowed smoke and heat to escape through the roof cut and enabled the interior crew to rapidly extinguish the fire. Two dogs were rescued during the primary search and returned to the owners. No one was injured.
