Grether Buys Out Kenyon Searchlight Co.

The Grether Fire Equipment Company, of Dayton. Ohio, has bought out the Kenyon Searchlight Company, of Detroit, Mich., manufacturers of the well-known “Fire Chief” hand electric searchlights, portable searchlights for fire apparatus, and “Marine” searchlights for fire boats, steamers, etc. These goods have already been adopted in many departments and mean a valuable acquisition to the Grether line of fire department supplies. Arrangements have been made to manufacture these searchlights at their Dayton factory and the company is prepared to make prompt deliveries.

Two Eastman three-way deluge sets have been added to the fire equipment at the mills of the Bates Manufacturing Co., of Lewiston, Me.
