Dr. W. S. Long, of Graham, N. C.. was elected President of the North Carolina Firemen’s Association at the fortyeighth annual convention held at Wilmington, August 18 to 21. Others elected are Chief W. F. Holland, Raleigh, VicePresident;约翰·米勒（John L. Miller）。Concord, re-elected Secretary, and A. B. Horney, High Point, re-elected Treasurer.
