Connecticut Plans for Emergencies
A relief plan for defense preparedness, and for coping with possible disasters, has been submitted to all local health officers in Connecticut by the State Department of Health.
Eight types of disasters, in which health officers would be called upon, were listed. They are: Floods and tidal waves, fires, winds and tornadoes, explosions, droughts and water supply failures, disease, earthquakes and military operations.
