Paul A. Haker has been appointed manager of advertising and sales promotion in the Corporate Marketing functional area of the Ansul Company, Marinette, Wis. He will be responsible for managing and coordinating all Ansul advertising and sales promotion activities.

A $1.5-million, 30,000-square-foot addition to the “Automatic” Sprinkler Corporation of America subsidiary, Powhatan Brass & Iron Works at Ranson, W. Va., has been announced. The expansion, which will triple Powhatan’s capacity for the production of brass fittings and devices used throughout the fire protection industry, will be made on property now owned by the company. A greater variety of products will also be introduced. The installation will be a completely new automated foundry, which is expected to go into production during the first part of 1967. The present machine shop and buffing room will also be renovated.
