NOTES OF MEN AND THINGS.
The horse of District Engineer Cunningham, of the Brooklyn Fire Department, became frightened while proceeding to a fire last week, and ran away. The light wagon was upset, and the engineer hurled to the pavement. He struck heavily on his head, and sustained a bad scalp wound.
