克利夫兰首席华莱士,收到奖章
Chief George A. Wallace, the veteran head of the Cleveland, Ohio, fire department, was presented with the Distinguished Service Medal by the chamber of commerce of that city on April 21. The presentation took place at the chamber’s annual meeting and was made by the retiring president, E. B. Greene, City Manager Hopkins and President Howe, of the Case School of Applied Science, presented the chief and another recipient of the medal to President Greene who, in presenting the medals, read the citation as follows:
