Brooklyn Exempts.
The twenty-sixth annual meeting of the As sociation of Exempt Firemen of the late Volunteer Fire Department of the city of Brooklyn, W. D., was held Friday evening January 11th, 1878, at their rooms, and a large attendance of members present. The President, J. T. Flinn. in the chair, and T. A. Drake at his post as Recording Secretary. The usual routine of business was transacted, and the annual report of the Treasurer, Wm. Burrell, was read, showing a steady increase of their funds and no indebtedness.
The election of officers and trustees for the ensuing year then took place by ballot, and the following gentlemen were elected :
