At the 51st annual conference of the New England Association of Fire Chiefs June 24-28, Chief Albert B. Galfetti of Barre, Vt., was elected president, succeeding retired Chief Thomas J. Hayes of East Haven, Conn. The conference was at the Mount Washington Hotel in Bretton Woods, N.H.
