A Tremendous Dam.
The scene of the latest move on the part of the water board of Boston, to extend its water supply is at Southboro, and on the border of the city of Marlboro.
Twenty-five years ago representatives of Boston’s water board looked over the proposed new basin and had it surveyed, but since then, until about a year ago, no positive measures were taken to get the land necessary for the new basin, which will be known as basin 5 of the Sudbury river system.
