
The InterAgency Board recently released a paper detailing is recommendations on how to deal with thefirefightercancer epidemic.
The document,Recommended Actions Related to Reducing the Known Risk of Cancer in Fire Fighters (June 2016), offers thoughts on how to reduce cancer incidence and mortality among firefighters, and contains eight major recommendations to this end, including improving firefighter education on cancer, implementing an exposure reporting database, and post-fire considerations for exposure.
