The Winkler Fire Department was called to rescue a dog from a well, reports Pembina Valley Online (http://bit.ly/1poTfRq)
The dog's owner had attempted to rescue it from the 25 feet deep well, but was unable too.
Chief Richard Paetzold says the department entered the well using rope rescue techniques with an air supply system. The dog did not resist, making for a very easy and successful rescue.
