Three Oregon teens face charges of arson, reckless burning and reckless endangering after a four-alarm fire at Woodburn High School, reports KOIN Local 6 (http://bit.ly/KbdLSB).
The news outlet reports that the fire started Friday morning in the wood-shop area. Nearly 1,600 students were safely evacuated and firefighters from at least a dozen agencies reported to the scene.
Firefighters had knocked down the worst of the fire by noon and moved inside to perform mop-up, reports The Oregonian (http://bit.ly/Kw5b34).
Statesman Journal (http://stjr.nl/JllnXg) reports that the roof over the wood and metal shop areas collapsed and that fire officials said the building would be unusable for at least the rest of the year.
