Early news reports coming in from theDetroit (MI) areasuggest that last night’s fire activity was relatively low onDevil’s Night, a night that in years past has seen a significant uptick in fires for the local fire service.

Detroit saw just 83 suspicious fires over the three-dayHalloween period a year ago, down from 169 in 2010, 119 in 2009, and 136 in 2008.
