密尔沃基大学生收费d with Arson for Campus Fires

A University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee student was charged Tuesday with starting two fires at campus buildings, one that caused hundreds of thousands of dollars in damage, reports jsoline.com.

Zhexuan Zhou, 20, was in the Milwaukee County Jail Tuesday with his bail set at $10,000, according to jail records.

Zhou, a sophomore, is charged with felony arson and felony reckless endangerment in connection with a fire Jan. 5 at the Engineering and Mathematical Sciences building, and misdemeanor arson in connection with a fire at the UWM Physics building Dec. 22, according to a news release from the university.

The Jan. 5 fire, reported shortly after 7:30 p.m., started in a first-floor classroom, and cleanup and restoration costs from the blaze could total between $300,000 and $500,000.
