A youngvolunteer firefighterwith the Jackson Parish (LA) Ward Four Fire Protection District on his way to anEMScall was killed Saturday when he crashed the department brushtruckhe was driving.
Firefighter Christopher Peterson, 22, was extricated from the crashed vehicle by fellow firefighters. He was subsequently pronounced dead at an area hospital.
