A massive fire broke out at achemical plantin Waxahachie, Texas, late Monday morning, sending huge plumes of black smoke billowing into the air.
Employees and visitors to the plant were all reportedly out safe, according to anupdate on CNN’s Web site.
Officials ordered the evacuation of a nearby school, apartment building, and other industrial sites. Multiple fire departments responded to the incident, and there have been reports of chemicals being released by the fire.
