Four firefighters were injured battling a two-alarm fire that damaged two buildings in downtown Newark (NJ), reports The Star-Ledger.
The fire was reported at a clothing store on Broad Street near Central Avenue and quickly spread to a fried chicken restaurant next door, said a fire department spokesman.
There were customers in the restaurant at the time of the fire, but none was injured.
At some point, a ceiling partially collapsed on five firefighters, injuring four of them.
