An elderly couple was seriously injured yesterday when a house exploded in Cape May County, New Jersey.
Police responded to the scene at around 3:30 p.m., according to aStar-Ledgerreport (http://bit.ly/18d50ml). The victims reportedly suffered serious burn injuries and were airlifted to a hospital.
About 100 firefighters responded to the fire scene in Lower Township, which was under control after about an hour. Neighbors were displaced for about two hours.
NBC 10 Philadelphia reported that the couple remained in critical condition Friday morning.
