One Firefighter Hurt in Dearborn (MI) Fire

Onefirefightersuffered minor injuries in a recent two-alarm fire in Dearborn, Michigan, and fire photographer Ian Kushnir provided some photos from the scene.

According to Kushnir, crews found smoke showing on arrival. Engine 5 crew made entry to basement but had to back out.

Crews on first floor reported that the floor felt spongy and there was a hole. The crew in the attic was ordered out. Defensive posture set up with tower ladder, quint ladder, and handlines. Stations 1, 3, 4, and 5 responded to this incident.

The fire took place on Ferney Street, which is in the city’s south end.
