There have been fewer arsons in Detroit, Michigan, thus far over the Halloween weekend. This period is usually referred to as Devil’s Night, but has been rechristened Angels’ Night due to the massive number of firefighters, police, and other responders and volunteers who endeavor to thwart firebugs in the lead-up to Halloween.
The Detroit Newswrote that there were only 18 fires reported Saturday night, below the average 26 for Saturday fires (CLICK HERE). This is a far cry from the hundreds of arsons that struck the city every year around Halloween.
