According to a report fromFOX2NOW, one person was killed in a house fire early Friday morning on Franko Lane in Madison County, Illinois.
Fire officials were dispatched to the scene at around 1 a.m. The Mitchell Fire Department (MFD) arrived to find the home fully engulfed, with the eventual victim inside the home.
MFD Assistant Chief Scott Wolfe said some ammunition was exploding in the home on their arrival because of the heat being generated by the fire. However, this did not result in any injuries.
It still unknown what caused the fire.
