Stevens becomes just the fourth Union City fire chief in nearly 100 years and replaces David Hughes, who stepped down as UCFD chief after 22 years in the position. Stevens began his career with the UCFD in 1995 and left for a few years in the early 2000s before returning. He is certified in Firefighter I and II and is also a medical first responder.

约瑟夫·纳塔利（Joseph Natali）was selected as the new chief of the Warren Township (OH) Fire Department (WTFD) on April 28 and will begin in his new position on May 3. He was previously the WTFD’s deputy chief and had been serving as its interim chief since Randy Daniels resigned in January to take a job in Indiana. Natali is an 11-year WTFD veteran and a 25-year firefighter who has worked in other Trumbull County departments such as Braceville, Newton Falls, and Lordstown.
