WELLS
An ordinance for the erection of a water works is to be presented to the council of McKees Rock, Pa., at an early date. The proposed plant will cost $75,000, which includes pipeage for a hydrant supply. The artesian well system will be used.
Experimental wells are being driven at Martin’s Pond, North Reading, Mass., to determine the feasibility of obtaining an additional supply from that source for the city of Malden.
