WATER SUPPLY
Mayor Wanser has refused to sign the contract entered into between Jersey City and the East Jersey Water Company. Meanwhile the diluted Passaic sewage is being served out to the citizens for drinking purposes !
The street and water commisssioners of Jersey City have paid the East Jersey Water Company $100,000 on account for the temporary supply of water it has been furnishing from the surplus flow of Newark’s plant. Payment is made with the understanding that it shall not be construed as an agreement upon a price paid for water furnished or to be hereafter delivered
