WATER SUPPLY
Before August 1st, the officials of the Niagara Falls water-works expect to have their fine new filtration plant in operation. This plant, the contract for the construction of which, has just been let to the Morrison Jewell Filtration company of New York, will cost about $30,000, and will both purify and clarify the water. Other similiar plants are in operation in larger cities.
The issue of $150,000 in bonds has been authorized in Toledo, O., for water works extensions.
