WATER RATES
基于计注册以下费率表istrations have been adopted by the Williamstown, Mass., Water Company and filed with the Board of Gas and Electric Light Commissioners of Massachusetts: Net rate—First 4,000 cubic feet registered each quarter at 22c. per 100 cubic feet. Next 6,000 cubic feet registered each quarter at 15c. per 100 cubic feet. Next 40,000 cubic feet registered each quarter at 10c. per 100 cubic feet. Next 100,000 cubic feet registered each quarter at 5c. per hundred cubic feet. All ever 150,000 cubic feet registered eacn quarter at 4c. per 100 cubic feet. For residential purposes, the consumer guarantees a minimum quarterly consumption equivalent to $2 for each dwelling, or $1,50 for each tenement, and in addition thereto, $1 for each water closet and 50c. for each bath tub connected to the service of the company. For commercial purposes, the consumer guarantees a quarterly consumption based on size of meter installed, as follows: ⅝-inch meter and under, $3 per quarter; 3/4-inch meter, $0 per quarter; 1-inch meter, $12 per quarter. For each additional ½-inch meter size, $6 per quarter.
The following schedule of meter rates was adopted for consumers of the water supplied by the Washington County Water Company at Hagerstown, Md., beginning April 1: hor house with rental value under $100 per year, the minimum charge is $4 per year, or $1 per quarter, the allowance of water being 3,333 gallons per quarter ; with rental value of $100 to $150 per year, $6 per year or $1.50 per quarter, the allowance being 5,000 gallons of water for the quarter; with rental value of $150 to $200 per year, $8 per year, or $2 per quarter, for an allowance of 6,666 gallons per quarter, and with rental value of $200 and upward per year, $10 per year or $2.50 per quarter, the allowance of water for the quarter being 8,333 gallons. Domestic consumers will be charged for excess, thirty cents per 1,000 until the amount of water equals 10,000 gallons per quarter. Over this amount per quarter, the following sliding scale will be used: First excess, 12,000 gallons per quarter, 25c. per 1,000 gallons; 21,000 gallons per quarter, 20c. per I,000 gallons; 105,000 gallons per quarter, 15c. per 1,000 gallons; 270,000 gallons per quarter, 12c. per 1,000 gallons; 750,000 gallons per quarter, 10c. per 1,000 gallons; 1,800,000 gallons per quarter, 8c. per 1,000 gallons; 6,000,000 gallons per quarter. 7c. per 1,000 gallons; 20,000,000 gallons per quarter, OkaC. per 1,000 gallons and all over 21,000,000 gallons per quarter, 6c. per 1,000. gallons.
