Triple Combination for St. Paul Union Stockyards
The St. Paul Union Stock Yards Company of South St. Paul, Minn., has recently acquired a Packard-Northern triple combination car for the protection of its plant. The apparatus consists of a standard twin-six chassis, type “I” combination chemical and hose equipment with type “C.” While this apparatus has a rated capacity of 600 gallons per minute, on test it threw 710 gallons without any overload on the motor.
