Twenty men in the employ of the Dallas water department are at work installing meters, all in Oak Cliff. There have been 1,332 installed.
Water consumers in the village of Hubbell. Mich., will be compelled to have water meters in stalled in their buildings. The meters received last month are ready for installing. 50 of them being in that consignment. The village also had about IV or 18 of the old meters on hand. At the present time there are about 121 taps in the village, but it is estimated there are fully 150 consumers in the village. It is expected that all buildings will be connected up with meters within the next few months. The consumers will be charged 25 cents per 1,000 gallons.
