CLAYTON, Mo.—Contract for a combination wagon was awarded to the Robinson Fire Apparatus Manufacturing Company, of St. Louis, Mo., at $650.
WASHINGTON, D. C.—Commissioners of the District of Columbia received bids on November 9 for one auto pumping engine for use in the fire department as follows: Ahrens Fox Fire Engine Company, Cincinnati, O., $8,000; Webb Motor Fire Apparatus Company, St. Louis, Mo., $8,490; alternate, $7,900. Watrous Engine VVorks Company, St. Paul, Minn., $10,000; Robinson Fire Apparatus and Manufactur ng Company, St. .Louis, Mo., $8,444; alternate, $8,000. Knox Automobile Company, Springfield, Mass., $9,850; alternate, $8,750.
