Tribute to the Late M. F. Collins, Lawrence
The city council of Lawrence, Mass., on October 6. after a eulogy on the late Michael F. Collins, superintendent of the water works of the city, and former fire chief, by Mayor Walter T. Rochefort, passed a resolution to attend the tuneral. which took place on October 8, and to instruct the city clerk to draw up resolutions upon Mr. Collin’s death.
Mr. Coffins passed away at 8:15 on the evening of Sunday, October after an illness of about two weeks. The funeral was held from St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, in Lawrence, on the morning of October 8.
