Tri-State Association Meets in Atlanta

The Tri-State Water and Light Association of the Carolinas and Georgia will hold its fourth annual convention at Atlanta, April 16-17. At a recent meeting of the executive committee, topics and speakers were selected and the programme arranged for the occasion. The addresses will embrace the purification and treatment of water, pumping equipment, accounting, conservation and protection of water supplies, troubles and problems of water and light departments, etc. Several experts on the above mentioned subjects have accepted invitations to be present and address the convention and the indications are that the meeting will be the most interesting and instructive ever held. The convention committee of the Atlanta Chamber of Commerce is taking an active interest in the convention and will do everything possible to make the gathering a big success.

The officers and committeemen of the association are: President, A. J. Sproles, Greenwood; first vice-president, F. C. Wyse, Columbia: second vice-president, George Hubbard, Madison, Ga.; third vice-president, J. W. Neave, Salisbury, N. C.; secretary-treasurer, M. A. Stubbs, Dillon.
