TRAVELING FORCE OF THE THOMSON METER COMPANY.

TRAVELING FORCE OF THE THOMSON METER COMPANY.

Of the excellent qualities of the meters made and, sold by the Thomson Meter company, of Brooklyn, New York, there can be no doubt, nor can there be any dispute as to the truth of the figures showing the extent of the company's sales. That these sales depend to a large degree on the high reputation these meters have earned for themselves, cannot be disputed. But, however firstclass any manufactured article may be, its progress as a marketable production must necessarily he slow, unless it is well pushed by able, energetic, intelligent, tactful and courteous salesmen. On their endeavors depend in great measure the success of the company and the sales of its goods. In this respect the Thomson Meter company is fortunate. The same critical acumen which its management has always displayed in selecting the most effective designs, the best materials, and the most skilful workmen, has been shown in its choice of the men who form its traveling forces, and it may safely be said that no manufacturing or business house in the United States can boast of a more efficient, conscientious. courteous and gentlemanly body of men than those who represent the company on this continent. Their portraits accompany this article. They are those of H. J. Putnam, J. C. Beardsley, E. M. Shedd. P. FI. Hamilton, W. H. Luckett, W. S. Cetti, J. L. Atwell and E. Cr''gut. The company is to be congratulated on being so ably represented.
