Training Center Approved For Boulder County, Colo.

Construction of a $100,000 building at a fire training center for all Boulder County, Colo., fire departments has the approval of the Board of County Commissioners.

Roger Burton of the architectural firm of R. V. Lord and Associates of Boulder reported that new approval from the Boulder County Planning Commission also is needed to get a special use review permit for construction of the 50-foot-high fire facility in residential zoning and a variance from the county’s 35-foot pudding height limit.
