THE AMERICAN WATER WORKS ASSOCIATION

Its Growth and the Work the Organization Has Accomplished During the Thirty-Eight Years of Its Existence—Those Who Have Been Instrumental In Its Success—Program for the Convention.

The American Water Works Association will hold its thirty-eighth annual convention next week, in St. Louis, Mo., the place in which its first meeting was held in 1881 and only once since that time has the association met in that city. This was in 1904, so that it is fourteen years since the members of the Association have had an opportunity of seeing the changes made in the motor works system there and they will find much of real interest in the work accomplished in that time which will repay the inspection.
